With the advent of modern medicine we are able to sleep better at night if we wear a mask that pumps oxygen (or rather forces air!) into our mouth so that we don't quit breathing while we are sleeping. I think it is a twisted evil plan by sleeping partners all over the world to torture their sleeping mates !
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. One of the worst cases that the clinic has seen. It seems that I stop breathing 86 times in a one hour period. My oxygen level was going down to 60% at night. So this is suppose to help me stay alive. This is all a part of my quest to have gastric bypass surgery. I have a colonoscopy scheduled next I hope they don't prescribe something for me down there!!!

Eeek! We hate bugs !
With Rhonda's last visit to Arizona (actually, her only visit to Arizona) She witnessed a family hunt for a cricket that was on the loose. I think she captured the moment very well. I like the box that Coleen is standing on and that Treven is ready with a boot to smash any creatures that come from under the door.
After blood curling screams by Coleen, Treven woke up to see what was going on. As the cricket escaped down the hallway Rhonda secured Treven by taking him into his room on his bed. Treven said, "Thanks for saving my life!" Then took his boot to the door for further protection.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE !
I really should have said power from the grandkids! We have noticed the excitement and strength that we receive from our children and grandchildren. We have become the techno nuts that we hate. We now have all of our family members hooked up on Web cams... It takes the edge off not being able to be with them, however, leaves us with a heartache that we cannot touch them.
I shouldn't mention heartaches. Just had an appointment with the Cardiologist this morning and he said that my heart looks good. They did not find anything that should cause me a problem. Yahoo!!! I have been on Cumadin (rat poison ) since my A-fib in early April. Today I get to stop that medication. I am glad. That stuff does weird things to your body and made me tired all the time. I am hoping that I will begin to feel more alive now!
I still need to lose alot of weight. I am consulting with a Bariatric surgeon during the month of July. I guess I am a prime canidate for stomach reduction surgery. So the journey begins.
I will need the power of our children and grandchildren to get me through this venture.
Yeah! Rhonda is out of school for a few weeks! I love being with her !

Curtis getting a present and Rachael looking as hapy for Curtis as Curtis is. They seem to be smiling and happy alot. I can't say enough how nice it was to have everyone that could come, come for Christmas. We sure missed Brian and Crystal but where able to talk to them a few times. Sounds like they had a nice Christmas Eve with Brians family.
Dinner wasn't the China dinner I had dreamed of but what a feast! We all enjoyed visiting with each other even if we did use paper plates. Curtis and Rachael at the end of the counter, our friend Ruth and Grandpa Klingler(Cortney hiding ..seen between Ruth and Grandpa)
Maycie in her to-to I made her. She thought it was fun. Her Aunt had made her a pretty blue one too, so she is set to be a princess balerina.
One of Trevens favorite things to do is put my helmet from when we had the quads and ride his bike fast, fast, fast. He looks kind of like a cartoon. Big head little body on an even smaller bike.
Funny Treven. He's the champ. Well, this is a lot of pic's to catch up. We'll try not to get so far behind again. We love reading everyones blogs and seeing everyone. Love you all.
A very big smile from Cortney. Cecil and Cortney were with us too. What a special day. Cortney is 7 months pregnant with our Granddaughter.. I mean with their daughter. :0) Cecil made us some real yummy rice. They are always making something.
Grandpa getting some special hugs from Jeremiah "Santa". What a kissable little face.
Grandpa Klingler in his Reindeer horns. He is always fun to have around. Quiet, but usually has something up his sleeve to make us smile.
My Dad and Mom! What a joy. I almost missed them in the picture. I was standing and they were sitting. "Pay attention Rhonda! They brought food too as everyone did. We had way too much. Lots to share and freeze for later. Thanks everyone.
Jeremiahs first Christmas and he seemed to get right into it. No fear!
Now it's Christmas pic's. Almost done with the tons of catch up. We had the lucky pleasure of Erick, Coleen, Teven and Maycie spending the night on Christmas Eve. While Bryan read to Treven about leaving cookies and milk for Santa...
Treven looked over his elbow at me and said "you make the cookies and I'll get the milk, Maugie, Chocolate milk!" And so it was. Such fun and excitment.

Christmas morning, Maycie would open a present and then promply put the gift in the basket of her pony that Grandma Bassett gave her. It was so funny.
Grandma and Granpa Klingler were able to come up on Christmas with my parents. We were so blessed to have both parents be with us. (as well as a dear friend of ours, Ruth) Grandma is opening a special Teddy bear picnic plate that Curtis and Rachael got for her.
Nana Buton (my Mom) gets a big "Deer" hug from Treven with his antlers that Nana brought him. What beautiful eyes, huh?
Decided to catch us up with a few new pic's.
This is Treven and Maycie at Apple hill in October. They loved watching the fish pond. There was a fish that was loose, but had a hook in it's mouth. We watched the boober swim around the pond. Poor fish.
Maycie smiling big. She was watching (with dad) how apple juice is made. This is at apple Hill also.
Curtis and Rachaels new home. Pretty exciting times. They are very happy and have been busy getting there home all set up just how they want it. Very cute.
Our Thanksgiving in Utah with Brian and Crystal was fabulous! We all went out to eat at Mimis. We had a great visit with them and were sure glad that Mom, Dad, Bryan and I could all drive to Utah together.
After eating we took a hike up the canyon along the falls. Very pretty and cold. We sure had some fun and made some new memories. Thanks Crystal and Brian.
